The city of Vyborg is located not far from St. Petersburg, about 2-2.5 hours by car. There are a lot of small and big rocks around Vyborg. In winter - the beginning of spring they are covered by ice and this gives a very good possibilities for ice-climbing. On March 17-20 Mrs. Marina Ershova with her students (Russia) and Mr. Henk Paardekooper (Holland) visited that area and had several days of very nice ice-climbing there. |
