Ullar Pold and Tiina Tamm:
Dear Andrey,
The ascent from the North is a possibility to learn and to feel in a compact kind how a real mountaineering expedition passes - a glacier with crevasses, walks and climbs with ropes, high-altitude camps, a fog, snowfalls and a strong wind. After an ascent of one summit you should not be weakened, and it is necessary to find forces and motivation for new climbs. We found a balance between our desires and our abilities and this allowed us to do three successful ascents.
Many thanks to Ersh Travels for the excellent organization and to the managers of Ersh Travels for their hospitality and excursion in Pyatigorsk.
